Chemistry is the study of matter’s composition, structure, characteristics, and reactions. It is defined in terms of atoms and other atomic particles, as well as how they are structured and related to one another. It is focused on the synthesis, formulation, analysis, and distinctive qualities of various substances and materials.

Atomic structure and the Periodic Table

  1. A simple model of the atom consisting of the nucleus and electrons, relative atomic mass, electronic charge and isotopes.
